im the girl who sticks up for everyone but certain things really make me self concious. like when sumone says im a nerd and thats y they wouldnt date me, or when my friend says i need to try harder, or when sumone calls me and my friends the dirty dike group… so not cool to hear…

You have to stop worrying so much about what other people think of you! Who cares what "they" say! You need to have confidence in yourself, know who you are, and embrace it! If your friends tell you something, try not to take it negatively…they are probably just trying to help. As for the others, calling you names…who cares what they think?! Are you a good person? Are you smart? and kind? and generous? honest? a good friend?…..yes, you are. So don’t let anyone ever make you feel bad about yourself. They aren’t worth it. You let them "win", by feeling badly about yourself. That’s what they WANT you to do. And they are going to continue to do it when they see you sad every time they make fun of you. Blow them off….ignore it. They are part of your life for such a short time, you’ll probably never know them again, anyway. You want someone like that to ruin your self confidence; your life? Ha! Don’t give them the pleasure! They don’t deserve it!
Usually, the people who bully others, make fun & tease others, are insecure themselves, and that’s what they need to do in order to feel good about themselves.
You just be proud of who you are.

i’ve heard of stories of girls that they tell their parents, and their relationship becomes stronger. i would like to tell her, it happened about a year a go with my ex, no i’m 16, i am active with my new boyfriend we’ve been together for 9 months. i’m a good student, i get awesome grades, i’m very advanced with school, and i’m respectful. i’m not some little hoe, i just happen to fall in love. if you were to see me on the street you wouldn’t be able to think anything of me other than i’m some kind of nerd and plus i look like i am 12. i don’t want it to hurt my mom, i want to be honest, and i don’t want her to think i’m dirty because i’ve practically have slep with as much guys she has slep with. i love her, and i’m a good daughter or should i just keep inside, and tell her when i’m about to get married. opinions from mothers would GREATLY BE APPRECIATED..

You are right, telling her would hurt her. You want to tell her because you think it will make you feel better. You shouldn’t trade your comfort for her pain. If she were the type of mom that wanted to talk to her 16 year old about her sex life, she would ask. If you tell her, you will not be able to un-tell her and if it turns out to be a big mistake, you will have alot of regret. Think seriously about this, it could affect your relationship with your parents for the rest of their lives.

You should not tell her now, nor ever, IMHO.

Weird Al’s new video called “White & Nerdy,” an obvious parody on Chamillionaire’s “Ridin’ Dirty.” Hilarious stuff, and I read on Wikipedia that Chamillionaire actually liked the way Weird Al raps. XD

I’ve got a pretty face, to be honest. But i don’t think i’m faminine enough. I mean I like wearing sport shoues, jeans, big bags. and to be honest, i spend very little time on caring of my appearance. I study hard, (i’m not a nerd) and have many friends! i mean i’m not an ugly nerd who’s sitting in the corner in dirty clothes with dirty hair. No! i mean, I hardly ever do make-up. I was trying to make it a habitual action, but all the time i was thinking i’m looking unnatural. (even when there was little of it). I have much clothes that i don’t wear preferring to wear several pull overs and shirts. at the same time there’s no certain style.. I mean, i have shoes with high heels, that i wear (almost never), skirts etc. but i don’t wear it! i don’t know what to do… i know men prefer women who dress girly…

Being feminine is all about being a woman. And being a woman is NOT defined by make up and heels!!! You already have the woman part so, what are you really worried about? Relax! Stop putting pressure on yourself to look like what someone else deems to be feminine! True femininity exists when a woman is comfortable with herself. So, if you are not comfortable in skirts, don’t wear them! If you think make up makes you look fake, it probably does! Try finding things that make you feel comfortable. If that is jeans and chapstick then so be it! Sometimes all you need to feel extra special is some sexy underwear under your jeans and pullovers that makes you feel feminine! Whatever it is, you have to find the thing that works for you; that makes you feel good as a woman. Not what someone else says is girly and feminine! Ask yourself, what makes ME feel feminine? Remember, the way you feel on the inside is the way you appear on the outside. And when you feel feminine, you are feminine!

i love him very much but im not corney so would like some names. i usually call him a nerd or punk, sometimes idiot! have u got any other ideas. nothing dirty though lol!
