Hi! ok well i dont like her at all she is just a very jealous person my mom says and she is always giving me dirty looks or some shit like that! Well at lunch i felt like she was trying to attack me but wasnt making it obvious( in her opinion) well ill just say what she said, well we were talking about something and i told somebody i thought it was blah blah and she said " are you blind?" and a snobby way and i was like are you? cuz im not going to be fucking taking her shit.. then later on she was like you look really smart like you like to study a lot ( i think she called me a nerd too) yeah she did called me a nerd and i was like haha well its better than looking like a dumbass.. then yeah i just kept trying to fire back at her.. it pissed me off next time she better keep her mouth shut as for my question do you think she was trying to attack me or was being sincere? cuz she sounded like a bitch! and thats why im so pissed… and also was it good that i stood up for myself and said these things back?? she was also asking me if i liked to study and i was like wtf…? thats a weird question to ask i was like yeah i guess… its like what the hell???

Ok, I was friends with this girl last year bc we were in the same classroom together. She was very quiet and always smiled and laughed (very kind to me). She was the type of girl who liked to help others and hated with people were fighting and would try to patch things up with people.
Well I found out over the summer that she had a cell so i texted her and said hey. She replied and said "Hey. Stop Texting me."
I was confused so i said "hey its me, remember?" and she began to cuss me out and talked about how i am ugly, geeky, a nerd, mother f, ect.

This is the first time I heard her swear. Then later she called me up and cussed me out over the phone for like 5 minutes. I felt terriable because I didn’t do anything.

I asked my other friends what to do and they all said to just ignore her. But that isn’t getting me anywhere! She keeps texting me and its been 5 months! Like I got one 5 minutes ago! I keep getting these hate messages and I want then to stop. She gives me dirty looks all day at school and lies about me to my friends… I want this to stop but I don’t want to get my parents involved… anyone have any ideas on why she could be doing this and how to stop it???
Oh and just a minute again my friend Brea told me that she has started to be harassed by the same girl!

I hope someone out there can relate to my thoughts -

Where to start? I’m going to be honest. I’m only twelve, but I’m very, very mature for my age. I feel like there’s nothing in life left for me to figure out. Although I tend to look I life from a zoomed-out perspective (if you know what I mean). I think very logically and I think way too much into things, but this is a very general aspect of my everyday life.

I get embarrassed very easily and I take criticism very harshly. At school, I don’t fit in, especially with the other girls. I’m the quiet girl. I bring books to lunchtime because I don’t want people to talk to me. I get embarrassed by the kids around me when they say dirty things like kids my age do. I’m quiet because when I speak my voice is a ghost. I stutter. When I talk, I can’t hear myself. I can’t make conversation. I have no social life. I have acne (not so bad, but I always think that that’s all people see when they look at me). I get embarrassed when people watch me do things, especially eat. I start to sweat when people look at me. I keep to myself very much.

I would be happily independent at school if it wasn’t for the fact that there is a teacher I have a crush on, and I want him to think that I’m a normal, down to earth middle school girl. I force myself to tolerate people long enough to walk with me down the hall when I am passing by his class. When noone is around, I have to awkwardly thumble through my papers as if I am rushing to class. I think I walk awkwardly.

People shoving my in the halls doesn’t help. I wish I could go about my day without any interference from anyone else. They all mess with me!!! I get soooo embarrassed when people do things to me. Like once, for no apparant reason, this guy put a bottle of lotion on the top of my locker door when I was about to close it. I had no idea what to do so I stood there awkwardly while everyone snickered. Finally, after five minutes of ignoring it and riffling through my locker when I already had my books, someone actually came and took it off my locker door. I had no idea what to make of it so my face turned beat red and I ran down the hall. I cried about it later that day. Don’t ask why.

I’m very smart for my age. I always want to learn. My teachers compliment me like crazy. Especially the one that I like. One time, my science teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up and said that I was unbelievable smart and that she was glad to have me in her class. I’m proud of making good grades, but I get called a nerd way to often. I take it very very very personally.
I’m not comfortable with myself. I can’t let go and have fun because I’m scared I’ll look stupid.

I’m not satisfied with my life. I do the same thing every day and come home to nothing. I used to have something to look forward to – getting home. Now, when I think about getting home, I get sad. I don’t want to come home and put up with more people. I want to be left alone. My mom and my brother aggravate me. I’m short-tempered. I just want to go to my room and read or work on a project or research something online. These are my hobbies.

My life is a complete circle. Home, school, home, schoool. When does it end? When can I sit down and sigh and say "phew!! im done!! i dont have to live this life anymore!!"?? A complete circle. Wake up, get ready, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th period, home, sleep, repeat. No joy. No straying from the path. No end. I’ve thought hard into this and it makes me wonder why I put up with it. Why don’t I…. do something? anything? I hate my life. My life is a circle. continuous work. no reward. continuous stress. continuous putting up with shit. I will never get to sit down and say "glad thats over!" Never. Not when I die. Not after I die. And it makes me think if this life is really worth the effort I put into it. . .

I want to know if anyone can relate to me or what I should do. This is not a whim. I’ve felt like this for two years and I can’t seem to really understand myself.

My 1st thought is that socializing with family and friends is part of life. Maybe the reason you dont have anything to look forward to is because you dont give yourself the opportunity to take part in things somebody your age should. Find friends that you have things in common with and that you can enjoy being around because not everybody gets on thats life too. To do this you need to let yourself get to know people and go to their house maybe to work on your projects and things break the circle even a little at a time.

Obviously there is too much details to be described thoroughly but I will try my best.

First of all I’m going out with a guy I’ll call Alex. It’s been going and off for 4 years. When I first met him he was an extremely shy video game nerd and I really help bust him out of his shell. We were both naive and this relationship has been our one and only sexual relationship. This is important because he’s never given me an orgasm and I suppose it’s left me a little unsatisfied. Also, I feel like I love sex a lot more than him and it leaves me feeling dirty a lot. I always initiate sex with him and it gets annoying.

I know that I’m the love of his life but sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. For instance, his family and I don’t really know each other. They’ve never tried to meet me or anything. On the day of his graduation a couple years back, he walked by me with his aunts and uncles and didn’t introduce me or anything. That really broke my heart, but I let him know what he did hurt my feelings and tried to make sure he understood not to do anything like that anymore.

However, this Xmas I asked him to spend the holiday with us. He said he would. However, after his father asked him to come to his family’s he immediately said yes. I told him that really hurt my feelings because he’s always picking his family over me (IMPORTANT: when he goes on his family vacations, he never hangs out with them and he is always on the computer trying to talk to me, complaining how unfunny it is and how much he hates being there. That’s the only reason I asked him to stay because I know he hates it there. He also told me for a month he was staying for christmas) So he told his father he was staying the holiday with me. Well one day I was looking over his shoulder and I saw an email that his brother sent that said "Jonas six" This REALLY hurt my feelings and I walked away sad and went to the bathroom (to get myself together and because I needed to go lol) When I came out HE came up to ME and said "I sent an email telling him that that was wrong and that’s why I don’t go to their holidays." I was SO proud of him I asked to see the email. But he wouldn’t let me, so I asked again. I finally realized that there was no email and I asked him and he avoided me. Finally the truth came out HE DIDN’T sent an email! This is what most recently upset me. I couldn’t believe that he outright lied to my face about something so important to me. Then I was sitting on the couch and he told me, a lil angry, "come here." I didn’t of course and he got angry. So when he’s angry all he does is sulk and he wouldn’t look me in the eye or anything. So finally we got alone and I asked what’s wrong and he threw this dry erase pencil and said that I expected too much out of him and he couldn’t be the person I wanted him to be.

My question is, should I break up with him? I love him but I wonder if the only reason I want to break up with him is because I know I can always take him back if need be. I do love him though but sometimes I get so sad when I’m with him, because I feel like he doesn’t care about me.

McCain campaign has been pushing for the last few weeks that Obama is presumptuous, arrogant and well … just a bit uppity. Ron Fournier picked the ball up early in his reporting for the AP. And John King was pushing it over the weekend on CNN. Is it arrogant or above Obama’s station for him to meet with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve? If I’m not mistaken he is a sitting United States senator and also the presidential candidate of the Democratic party. Such meetings are actually the norm.

Now, I note that the Post, which has generally been in McCain’s camp, has a front page story today that comes about as close as they feel able to confirming that McCain campaign and McCain personally have spent most of the last week peddling what they knew was a lie about Obama’s called-off trip to the US military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany. And there’s also this piece in today’s Times noting ‘concern’ among some Republicans over McCain’s increasing use of personal attacks on Obama with what are often demonstrably false claims. How many demonstrable lies does the McCain campaign have to push before it colors the portrayal of his campaign?

As I alluded to at the top of this post, it is the norm that obvious campaign tactics that are treated as obvious after a campaign is over are nonetheless treated by most reporters as ambiguous or unclear during a campaign. But in this case it would be nice if that were not the case. Because here we have a candidate, John McCain, who is running on a record of straight talk and honorable campaigning running a campaign made up mainly of charges reporters are now more or less acknowledging are lies. But there’s precious little drawing together of the contradiction. What’s more, as everyone will acknowledge after the campaign, the McCain campaign is now pushing the caricature of Obama as a uppity young black man whose presumptuousness is displayed not only in taking on airs above his station but also in a taste for young white women.

Berlin was less, it seems to me, about the celebrity of Obama than about the disaster of Bush-Cheney. Obama is the vehicle for the world’s hope for the return of the America they remember.) But the flipside of this kind of success is always an attempt to take the dude down a few pegs and I can’t get too worked up about that. Of course a candidate being greeted the way Obama was in Europe will prompt a raspberry from the back-row when he gets back home. I don’t see anything that awful about that. It’s actually quite healthy in a democracy.

Still, it also had the hallmarks of the usual boomer dust-ups. The arrogant-celebrity meme is a variation on the usual Rovian fare: empty of actual policy substance but evocative of playground loyalties and resentments. Basically, McCain called Obama a girl, to appeal to the jocks, and then called him arrogant to flatter the nerds.

Paris Hilton is a two-fer. Choosing a female celebrity is integral to the usual attempt to feminize the Democrat. I could see nothing racist whatever in the message, mind you, but it was, as Weaver noted, pretty asinine.

Less asinine was McCain’s two-pronged lie that Obama would rather lose a war than a campaign and that he snubbed injured troops in Germany. The former is repulsive and you can tell McCain knows it because he has a weird habit of saying it and then grinning broadly and humming a little to himself as a semi-laugh. He doesn’t own the statement even as he says it. The charge itself is about as uncivil as it is possible to be, close to calling Obama treasonous, right? And the troop snub jibe is simply, demonstrably untrue, as the McCain camp was forced to semi-concede.

So McCain’s main moves these past two weeks have been either childish or disgusting, and both times he has signaled he didn’t really believe his own message. He doesn’t seem like a serious president to me.
