Could this be interest…Girls, this is urgent!?

There is this girl that’s been in my class for 3 years now. We never talked much, except when 2 years ago we were both involved in an inside joke (for the story, a teacher called her name in a funny way, I could imitate that perfectly and she’d laugh) but only that. No information exchange, ever.

The truth is, I was very shy until this year. I still am, but I’ve worked and improved on that. So now, we are on the same Maths class, and sometimes she sits on the desk right next to me!!! She is also kind of shy, well not exactly shy, she can stand up for herself in case someone talks sh!t about her, but she also goes red sometimes when hearing something ‘dirty’. To get the picture, she is a girl of her era, just a bit more held back, but still can talk about sex.

I liked her since then, not any crazy love, but she indeed is very sweet and cute, just my type. So this year I decided to try and approach her. One day, when she was missing on Maths class, when I saw her later, I offered on my own to give her the homework notes. She accepted smiling and thanked me, and we chatted a little bit about what we wanted to study. Another day, in maths, when I solved a hard exercise on the board, she loudly said "Well, I can’t say…you are observative!" I know, she didn’t say "Oh my, you’re so hot", but I was pleased to hear that, because as I said before, we’d hardly speak, and now she’d compliment me in front of the class… And I’m really looking into returning the compliment back, it’s not too hard after all

And in case this is interest, damn it, I still find it hard to do more! I know that by some chit-chat I won’t get her, but shyness once again knocks on my door and I just don’t know how to proceed. Asking her on a date at this point is out of question until we know each other better…I don’t know what to ask her so that I won’t pass as a nerd (studies and stuff) and still get her interest. I AM humorous but with this girl, my ‘funny things to say’ tank gets a lid on its top!

What can I do to kick nervousness in the butt? What else -please, every little detail, I need it!- small could I do to get her attention? How romantic should I be? And in case we get to know each other better, what could be a nice date idea for such a girl?

So first of all I think it’s really cute you are trying so hard to talk to this girl. You need to be more confindent in yourself. Just talk to her like she is someone your comfortable around and then you can impress her with the "funnies", girls do love that! lol When it comes to the point when you can ask her out, just go somewhere you can talk more if you are comfortable with that. If you are not..then you should just see a movie, thats an easy was to make it through a date, you dont even have to talk. lol Well good luck and really just be yourself!
