I’m a 15 year old girl, and I have no female friends (some acquaintances, but none that I hang out with outside of school). My groups of friends consists of my boyfriend and 3 other dudes. At my lunch table, I’m the only girl. I’m not really a tomboy, I just get along better with guys (I’ve never been able to understand drama and it seems like it comes along with girlfriends). I love video games (I have 3 80s on WoW, and am generally just a huge nerd). I LOVE dirty jokes and can basically turn anything anyone says into an innuendo if I want to. It seems like most girlfriends I’ve ever had have just ended up trying to start stuff with me or spreading rumors about me.
I’m just a bit worried that people might think of me as weird or a slut (well, I guess I am weird, but I’m not a slut and am extremely loyal to my bf).
I do like other girls (I’m always friendly to them and will start up conversations randomly because I like to talk), I just try to not get really close to them, because ever since I was in 5th grade girls have been nothing but terrible to me. I’m really trying to get over that though.
Who cares what anyone outside of your friends thinks? I have mostly guy friends, because most of the girls I know are bitchy, shallow, and annoying. I’d rather play video games, watch Speedway, and knock back a few beers with the guys than go shopping, talk about makeup, and gossip with the girls any day.
Girls come with waaaay much more drama. There’s no ‘omg Darren looked at me!!!’ or bitching over somebody dating somebody else’s ex with guys. It’s a simpler, and nicer kind of friendship.

I think that people think you are slutty if you wear the short shorts with low cut shirts. In otherwords if you are flaunting what you have to offer then probably. But if you are not doing that then no.

when i first got to college the only friends i had in school were boys. it sounds cliche but (esp with girls your age) they are just jealous. they want the attention of the boys and for the boys to think they are cool and dumb stuff like that. all girls defense mechanism is to make fun of the other girl. if you are content with only hanging out with the guys they who cares just do it and know that they just want to be sitting at that table. if you are still uncomfortable why dont you invite some girls that seem cool to come hang out with all of you sometime and see what happens, you never know you could find another girl like us who just likes hanging with the guys.

Your just being yourself, you just have to find girls that will respect that. I wouldn’t sweat it.
If you feel pressured to make more girlfriends, maybe you should put in an effort to be more open to more conventional girly things… and if that’s not you, no worries!

Well some might think your weird as your not a normal girl. And some people will call you bad names no matter what.
But it does not matter. It would be nice if everyone would walk up to you and say something like ‘I approve of your life’, but that is NEVER going to happen. People are just not like that.
No matter who you are, people will call you names and say stuff about you and so on and so on. That is life.

And if its the girls that are calling you a slut then that may be mainly because their jealous of your tendency to get along with guys so easily
