Hey guys: what do you think of nerdy girls?

That’s NERDY, not dirty! I’m a girl and frankly, I’m a nerd. I like science. I watch Jeopardy and MythBusters. I read Shakespeare AND Douglas Adams. And I’m in love with words. Is it generally a turn-off for guys if they meet a girl with a brain, or do they like it?
Ha, you guys are great! To elaborate, though, I DO have a boyfriend, and he happens to like my nerdish ways. I was just wondering if that was common, or if he’s just a special case. :D

I am DEFINITELY turned ON by nerdy women. Give me a bookworm over a bombshell any day.

The most successful marriages are between best friends. Best friends have many common interests. Your interests match those of most men. It seems you should have a vast array of potential suitors to choose from. You are going to make some lucky guy very happy – just as my nerdy bride has for me.

BTW – When you get to your 20th Class Reunion, what do you call the biggest nerd in your graduating class? ANSWER: Sir / Ma’am.

  3. i think nerdy girls i great for me…im more of the dumb guy when it comes to books smarts. i say it would balance me out cuz im more crazy, motorcycle wheeling, base jumping, fist fighting type of guy. im all about learning and bettering myself so yea i would love to learn from a nerdy girl……..hey it all depends on the guy!!

  6. I think a girl with a brain is incredible! I’m definitely a nerdy guy and i seek nerdy girls because they can hold awesome conversations with me and they share most of my interests. I hear its a turn off for some guys who are insecure but between me and my nerdy friends its highly desired.

    Personally I like women who can carry a conversation over many topics.
