Is there a stylish way to wear a bow tie?

I’m thinking about doing this to be different, but also because I work on PC’s and they would not get caught or dirty when I work. So I guess I want the nerdy-trendy look but I don’t know if there are any good examples to follow.

Check out Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor, in Doctor Who.
He wears a bow tie, and I think he’s absolutely adorable.
