That’s why it’s a good ideia to have a couple of stories memorized. Even if the stories don’t have much to do with the prior subject, as long as you make a small introduction or something it’s cool. Picking up girls is all about entertaining someone, pretty much like a comedian does. Comedians sometimes just change subjects out of the blue. People don’t care as long as they are entertained. Saying ANYTHING at all, even if it’s lame or stupid, it’s always better than awkward silence.
